US U.S Secretary of state Marco Rubio, has made claims that Iran is the reason behind several acts of terrorism. The Senator also stated that Hamas has to be “eliminated and eradicated.”
Speaking at a press conference, Rubio talked about the threat that Hamas pose to peace especially to those in the Middle East saying with their presence “peace becomes impossible”.
“The president has been very clear, Hamas cannot continue as a military or government force. And frankly as long as it stands as a force that can govern, as a force that can administer can threaten by use of violence, peace becomes impossible, they must be eliminated. They must be eradicated,” he told the press.
Continuing his speech, Rubio went on to say that Iran is the “common theme” behind all the war in the region. According to him Iran is behind every act of violence, terrorist group, and every thing that goes against peace and stability.
“The common theme in all these challenges is Iran. It is the single, greatest force of instability in the region. Behind every terrorist group, behind every act of violence, behind every destabilizing activity, behind everything that threatens peace and stability for the millions of people who call this region a home is Iran,” Marco told the press.
