Hamas has agreed to US’ proposal for ceasefire in Gaza

There’s a new development in the ongoing peace talks surrounding the war happening in Gaza.

Hamas has reportedly agreed to proposals made by the United States to smoke the peace pipe on the ongoing issues in Gaza.

The ceasefire negotiation according to reports begun months ago which also involves Egypt and Qatar as mediators.

According to sources Hamas’s chief, Khalil al-Hayya made an announcement concerning the group’s acceptance of a ceasefire proposal received from these mediators.

The ceacefire proposal at that time, initiated by Egypt and Qatar was aimed to advance in a gradual phase with the first step being the release of some Israeli hostages and putting a stop to their fight.

Then the next step will be aimed at the militaries freeing of Palestinian prisoners for peace to reigh .

However, Israel seems not to be so much interested in dealing with Qatar and Egypt and intermediates.

They responded with a counter-proposal coordinated with the United States and details of the agreement remain under discussion, with no immediate confirmation from Israel’s Prime Minister’s office.
