Director General of the National Service Authority says, “if you don’t have a Ghana Card, you’re not allowed to do national service”

The Director General of the National Service Authority has stated the relevance of the Ghana card in his authority.

In an interview with Ghana Connect, the director Felix Gyamfi stated that anyone who lacks the identification card will not be permitted to undergo the mandatory service.

“If you don’t have a Ghana Card, you’re not allowed to do national service,” he told the reporter.

“Ghana card is a far higher form of identification that restricts and bars all those of questionable identity to barred away from national service,” he said, explaining the card’s relevance.

This policy aligns with the National Service Authority Act of 2024 and aims to ensure only legitimate graduates serve, addressing systemic corruption.
