A former bodyguard of embattled American music executive and rapper, Sean Combs aka Diddy has alleged that Diddy performed a ritual that involved the killing of a bird as a sacrifice ahead of a 1999 shooting verdict.
The bodyguard reportedly called Gene Deal claimed in a documentary that Diddy sacrificed the bird as a way of bringing him good luck to get a favorable verdict from the judge following the Shyne shooting accident that occurred at a New York City nightclub.
According to Gene Deal, Diddy was escorted to the courthouse in Manhattan, and while on his way, he made a stop at Central Park where he met with a man whose identity was unknown having with him a caged bird.
He furthered that the strange man held a Bible as he put a hand on Diddy and instructed him to bring out bird.
“When Puff got close to the guy, he just dropped down to his knees,” Deal told the new Hulu documentary about the case, “The Honorable Shyne.”
“Next thing I see, is this smoke just going back and forth around Puff. I guess it was sage or something like that.”
“Puff took this white bird and threw it up in the air … The bird just fell to the ground, boom, like it was a brick,” Deal said. “I was like, ‘Oh, s–t!’
“The bird died, man … the bird didn’t even move. [Combs] just walked away from him real quick.”
