Embattled American rapper and music executive, Sean Combs popularly known as Diddy has accused federal prosecutors of doctoring the Cassie video to put him in a bad light.
Diddy said in court that the prosecutors edited the evidence and sequence of events to make him appear as dangerous and worsen his case ahead of the bail hearing earmarked for Friday.
According to Diddy’s lawyer, the raw video the CCTV captured in March 2016 at a hotel between Diddy and Cassie Ventura presents an accurate sequence of events showing what really happened in what they termed as a ‘domestic dispute’.
Diddy insists that he only threw the vase’s contents during his altercation with Cassie in the 2016 incident and not that he dragged her down as has been claimed by the prosecutors.
Diddy’s attorney makes the claim that the approach of the prosecution is not a fair analysis of the facts.
