Following her controversy for allegedly assaulting an air hostess on Ibom Air, Comfort Emmanson has gained social media attention of both positive and negative criticisms and sentiments.
In a recent development, Ossai Ovie Success, a Senior Special Assistant on Media to the Delta State Governor, has offered personal support to Comfort Emmanson.

In a post on X, Ossai announced that he is offering her a complimentary trip to Delta State. He also stated that “a job opportunity with a monthly salary of N500,000 has been secured for her in Delta State.”
“All expenses, including flight tickets, accommodation in a five star hotel, and tour costs, will be fully covered,” he added.

In a later post, Ossai clarified that his offer to Comfort Emmanson is a personal gesture, not affiliated with the Delta State government.

Since his post, the government official has faced a lot of criticism. While some applaud Ossai’s compassion, others, including X users like @Czarinaofdsouth and @michaelotue, have criticized the move, pointing to unmet local needs. “Your community has been without light for 18 years… and you are offering 500k to suck breast.”
