The musician Davido has attacked Osun State Commissioner of Police, for allegedly working alongside the opposition in the political crisis of the state.
The state in the South West is being ruled by Davido’s uncle, Ademola Adeleke, and at this moment embroiled in a political tussle between PDP members and APC members.
The crisis is rooted in attempts by the now-sacked local government chairmen elected on the APC platform to forcefully act in office, while court orders have ruled against them.
Over the weekend, Gov. Adeleke held a press conference during which he called on the President to caution one of his Ministers, Gboyega Oyetola, described by him as a nephew of Tinubu, for planning chaos in the state by ordering security agencies to return the sacked chairmen to their offices.
Governor Adeleke argued that in a democracy, politicians aggrieved by any government decision have the option to challenge that decision in the Appeal Courts or the Supreme Courts.
‘’I, however, regret to inform Mr. President and the public that Mr Gboyega Oyetola has concluded an arrangement to cause mayhem in Osun state starting from Monday. He is issuing illegal directives to security operatives to enforce illegality simply because he is the nephew of Mr. President.

I chose to alert the nation before my people were killed or maimed by a minister dropping the name of Mr. President in connivance with the Osun state security operatives obeying unlawful orders.

The bone of contention is the brazen effrontery to return to office council chairmen sacked by a subsisting court Judgment using a different court decision, which has no consequential order.
Let me make it clear that the said Council Chairmen were sacked before I was sworn in as governor of Osun State, contrary to the lies being peddled, that the Chairmen and councilors were sacked by my Executive Order.”

This morning, however, the local government secretariats in the state became battlegrounds as bullets began to fly when the sacked local government chairmen and their allies made attempts to gain entrance to the various secretariats.
They were resisted by the members of the PDP.
Apparently unimpressed by the police chief’s role in crisis management, Davido went on his FX handle to call him out.
