The flyer became erratic 20 minutes into the trip from Denver to Houston on a Tuesday night.
According to passenger Victoria Clark, the man allegedly began punching the seat when the woman sitting there asked a flight attendant to change seats.

Once the frightened woman departed her seat, he kicked at the window, cracking the interior Plexiglass cover panel.
However, the damage to the window did not pose a threat to the safety of the plane as it continued its course toward Houston’s Bush Intercontinental Airport.

Passengers sitting next to and in front of the man fled their seats to escape the potential threat.
Clark who was travelling with her three-year-old recalled not seeing any flight crew nearby.
Because of this, six travellers utilized shoe laces and flex cuffs to secure the man, as reported by the outlet.
“The flight attendants, they just disappeared – they went to go ask for help but I don’t know where they went at the time,” Clark recalled from her view directly across the aisle.
“It’s just me and this man and I start freaking out, having a panic attack. Tears, I start screaming for help ‘somebody come help us, I’m scared,’” she said.
Police detained the man and escorted him off the plane when the flight landed at Bush Intercontinental Airport at 11:10 p.m.
This incident raised questions because many wondered what had transpired during the flight.
