United States President Donald Trump has planned to hold talks with his counterparts in Mexico and Canada.
The meeting will hold just a day after announcing what many described as punishing tariffs on the neighbouring countries as well as China.

According to rla publication made by Aljazeera earlier, The Trump administration impose levies of 25 percent on goods from Canada, and 10 percent on energy products from the country starting from Tuesday.
Meanwhile Goods from Mexico will be subject to tariffs of 25 percent, while imports from China face 10 percent.
All these three countries have responded to the tariffs and already made plans to hit back at the United States.
In response to their hit back, Trump said the potential domestic pain caused by the tariffs and retaliatory measures taken against the US will “be worth the price that must be paid”, also railing against critics of his plan, on his platform Truth Social.
