Babies born in 2025 officially start the ‘Generation Beta’ Era.
Gen Beta, which will last until around 2039, follows Gen Alpha, which spanned from 2010 to 2024.
Before that, it was Gen Z, which ran from 1996 to 2010, and Gen Y, or millennials, who were born from 1981 through 1996.

A new demographic group called Generation Beta will start to emerge on January 1 2025.
This demographic which is defined as children born between 2025 and 2039 is expected to account for 16% of the world’s population by 2035.
Sustainable development of biotechnology and advanced artificial intelligence will shape the world that Generation Beta babies will grow up in.

These kids are growing up surrounded by virtual reality AI-powered personal assistants and driverless cars.
