Prio to his visit in Ghana, there was huge debate in Burkina Faso about whether he should come, with many believing his presence in Ghana would be threatening his safety because they believe the west would use that opportunity to topple him or abduct him.
Traore asked that he would be attending the inaugural ceremony with his protection.
We all know Putin won’t allow the West to touch him, meaning he is safer there than Ghana. So comparing him with Putin and in Ghana doesn’t make any sense.
I don’t see anything wrong with Traore going with his weapon personally.
