Jerry, who is reportedly a lover of lottery revealed to reporters that he bought the Powerball jackpot tickets in early August.
Luckily, after the drawing, he realised his numbers played and he began looking forward to receive his money but about nine weeks later, he has not been given his money.
He said, “It was exciting in a really subtle way because you don’t anticipate ever hitting all six. Six numbers on the Powerball is… the odds are you’ll die before.. You’ll walk out and get hit by lightning before you win that one.”

“The process is really horrible for a winner of a big… any big lotto winnings,” he said. “They won’t tell you by this date, you’ll get the funds. They won’t tell you that. They leave it open-ended so you’re sitting, waiting daily… (hoping you’re going to get these funds.)”
A lottery official named Becker said it could take time before Jerry will receive his money since there has to be investigations amongst other things to be sure he really won that lottery.
Becker said, “California Lottery processes, believe it or not, 10,000 plus claims a month, so we want to manage the expectations of our winners.”
With this new information, Jerry is keeping his fingers crossed and is patiently waiting for when his $44 million jackpot will hit his bank account so he can start enjoying that life-changing cash.
