A man reveals how he spent his income taking care of his girlfriend who was in medical school.
Fair to say he was expecting some level of loyalty from his girlfriend after completing her medical course but she rather left him.

“I’ve been with my girlfriend for nine years. Early in our relationship, she told me she wanted to go to medical school, and I decided to pay her tuition because I felt it was the right thing to do as a man.
I was in a position to support her financially, so I covered her tuition, paid all our bills, and made sure she had everything she needed to succeed. Fast forward to now-she’s a doctor, living the life she always dreamed of.

“But somewhere along the way, things changed. It’s not a money issue. I do well for myself, but my work isn’t in a ‘sexy’ industry. I’m not a doctor or lawyer, and she’s started treating me like I’m beneath her”
She’s made comments about the way I talk, the way I dress, and even told me not to come to her work events because I wouldn’t ‘fit in’ with her colleagues. It’s heartbreaking because I gave so much of myself to help her get where she is today.

Now I feel like I’m not good enough for her anymore. I don’t know if I should keep fighting for this relationship or if it’s time to walk away. After everything I’ve done, am I wrong to expect more respect and appreciation from the person I thought I’d spend my life with?” He narrated
