With Republicans poised to control both chambers of Congress and the White House President-elect Donald Trump has promised to stop the transgender lunacy from the first day of his presidency.
“I will sign executive orders to end child sexual mutilation, get transgender out of the military and out of our elementary schools and middle schools and high schools,” the president-elect said at an event for young conservatives in Phoenix, Arizona.

He also vowed to “keep men out of women’s sports,” adding that “it will be the official policy of the United States government that there are only two genders, male and female.”
Since Democratic and Republican-controlled states have taken opposing stances on issues like medical care and which books on the subject are permitted in public or school libraries transgender issues have disrupted US politics in recent years.

One clause in the US Congress’s annual defense budget which was approved last week prohibits funding for certain gender-affirming care for transgender children of service members.
