Nigerian politician, Dino Melaye seems to have difficulties in understanding the new changes in the leadership of Bishop Oyedepo’s church.
In Abuja Nigeria, Bishop David Abioye retired from the Living Faith Church because of age-related regulations. The Liberation Mandate the church’s operating guidelines stipulates that pastors must retire at age 58.
On October 18 2024 Bishop Abioyes’s farewell service was held.

According to Bishop Abioye, he will continue to be a blessing to many people and is not retiring from his ministry.
He added that he now feels secure about his future because of the lessons he learned from Bishop Oyedepo.
Reacting to this development, Dino Melaye opined that Bishop Abioye was forced to retire by the leadership but Bishop Oyedepo has not retired despite being older than Bishop Abioye.
