A man is certainly going to spend the rest of his life in prison after attacking a Judge in court.
The man known as Deobra Redden was on Tuesday, slapped with a sentence of 25 to 65 years in a Nevada Prison for trying to inflict harm on Mary Kay Holthus, a Clark County District Court judge.
A man who was captured on video attacking a judge in a Las Vegas courtroom has been sentenced to decades in prison.
This comes after the 31-year-old pleaded guilty to attempted murder and other charges.
Judge Mary Kay Holthus expressed how terrified she was after the mentally ill Redden jumped the desk and reached out to attack her during his court hearing.
In the video-making rounds on the internet, Deobra Redden jumped the desk and pounced on Judge Mary Kay, however, court officials were quick to rescue her from his grip
The 62-year-old judge whilst trying to escape the attack, fell back from her seat against a wall.

According to KLAS-TV, officials of the court said Judge Mary Kay Holthus got injured but not serious and needed her to be hospitalized.
The incident occurred on January 3 when Mary Kay Holthus was reading Deobra Redden’s sentence.
Explaining what happened to KLAS-TV, Carl Arnold, the attorney for Deobra ReddeN intimated that Deobra has not taken his prescribed medication to keep his condition, schizophrenia under control.
“I’m not making excuses for my actions, but I’m saying I’m not a bad person and I know that I did not intend to kill Mary Kay Holthus,” he said.
