Nigerian singer and songwriter, David Adeleke popularly referred to as Davido has revealed on social media that some individuals are plotting to ensure his scheduled concerts in Lagos don’t come off.
According to Davido, he has received threats to cancel his show he intends to host on Christmas eve in Lagos State.

The BET award winner disclosed on his X account that the threats stems from his comments at a recent interview he granted in the United States where he spoke about the economic situation in Africa particularly, Nigeria.
You would recall an earlier report we made where Davido said in the video shared that the Nigerian economy is bad whilst advising American Africans not to think of relocating to Africa.
Despite the threats, however, Davido hinted that he is not perturbed by the threats to cancel his show because he does not have to perform in Nigeria as he can host his shows at any country of his choice in the world.
