A man living in California who disappeared 25 years ago was found alive after his sister saw a post of him on social media.
The Lassen County Sherif Department stated on Facebook in a release on Monday November 25, that a lady reached out to them asking about the person who was reported missing.
Reports revealed that the man was found 500 miles away from California over the weekend.
She told the Sheriff’s Department that she was sent a USA Today publication that also had an image of a patent at the St. Francis Medical Center in Los Angeles County.

The details in the publication included the health institution asking for information about the patient after they found him in South LA without any identification of any sort.
The woman “believed” the man was “her missing brother,” the sheriff’s office indicated in its statement.
The lady claimed her brother was last seen in Doyle in 1990 and nothing had been heard of him since.
The man had not been heard from since,” the sheriff’s office stated, later noting that both the identity of the woman and her brother have not been put out in the public domain to protect their privacy.
“The man was non verbal and had never been identified,” authorities noted.
Later, Kennemore informed the woman that the patient was indeed her brother, and “the family will be reunited soon,” the sheriff’s department shared.
