Group of Catalans build the Tallest human tower ever in Spain

A group of Catalans built the tallest human tower in the world at an event on Sunday.

The event which takes place in the city of Tarragona every two years dates back to the 18^th century when people began the stunt of building human towers in the Catalan community.

In this video shared on Instagram by Sportcenter, it was reported that the Catalan tradition of human towers called Castells is resounding and has been in vogue for more than 200 years.

According to Sportscenter, the performers are volunteers who dedicated their time and energy to rehearsing the stunt for so many times weekly in order to achieve excellence during their performance at the grand event.
