Americans marveled at the brilliance and creativity of a young Nigerian girl, Eniola Shokunbi, following her invention of an Air Filter.
Enoola Shokunbi who is only 12 years old is a resident of Connecticut, US made the invention of air filter to mitigate the spread of airborne diseases in US educational institutions.
Her innovation was proposed for designing low-cost air filters to be used in classrooms.
Following this remarkable achievement, the Connecticut State Bond Commission has approved a $11.5 million fund for the innovation.
Eniola, who is in her fifth grade at Commodore MacDonough STEM Academy in Middletown, together with her colleagues in class were assigned to come up with an innovation with will enhance safety in school during pandemics that may occur in the future.
Primarily, Eniola Shokunbi designed the Air Filter to fight airborne viruses such as COVID-19.
Stunned by the innovative abilities of the girl, top American stars including American actor and singer, Tyrese Gibson reckoned that Eniola must be protected with every resource possible as she described her as an angel.
Tyrese shared a video of Eniola on his Instagram and captioned it;
“We have to protect this angel at ALL COST!!!“
