A Nigerian lady battling a kidney illness for several months has tragically passed on after the public made donations for her medical treatment.
The lady called Joyce Ifunanyachukwu suffered complications during her pregnancy that affected her kidney and had to treat the illness.
It is reported that Joyce Ifunanyachukwu needed 36million naira for the treatment and generous Nigerians who were concerned about her wellness made cash donation in September.

However, in an unexpected turn on events, an X user Serah Ibrahim who was garnering financial support and raising funds for Joyce’s treatment came on social media to announce the passing of Joyce.
She claimed a good sum of money was realized after the donations by well-meaning Nigerians but the deceased husband’s took her out of the hospital after the money was wired into his personal account.
According to Serah Ibrahim, instead of the deceased husband to pay for the deceased’s medical treatment when she was alive, he took her to the churchfor spiritual help for the pastor to pray for her and deliver her.
Serah claimed the man pocketed the money and she is doing all she can to sue the man for murder.
