Bishop Salifu Amoako, who apologised few days ago and asked for mercy from the families of the two girls his 16-year-old son killed in an accident has spoken again.
During church service, he defended his son by saying what happened was an accident so people should stop the backlash.
Tho he admitted to his son causing the death of the two girls, he went on to say that his son did not use a gun to them, implying that it was purely an accident.
He said to his congregation, “It is an accident. My son did not carry a gun to kill somebody. He involved himself in a terrible accident and I’m not the one who did. It is because of my name that this thing is going everywhere.”
“If this man should have engaged himself in Okada accident, who is going to mention it? It is because of me, my name, so keep quiet and let’s see what the Lord wish to do.”
