Bishop Salifu Amoako has rendered an unqualified apology to the families of the two girls who died from the accident his 16-year-old son caused.

He said, “Memebers of the deceased girls’ families, the incident that has happened to you, I’m the one speaking, Salifu Amoako.”

“I’m pleading with you to have mercy on me and may God be your comforter. I’m pleading with the families, may God strengthen you and give you strength.”

“Also to Ghanaians, pastors, please plead on my behalf and ask the family to forgive me for what has happened. I can’t even explain myself.”

“I’ve cried a lot because I can’t even understand what happened. I can’t even cry anymore. I’m on my knees, please forgive me.”
