Baltasar Engonga has been fired by the government of Equitorial Guinea following the release of his videos.

This new development was made known to the public in a news report by a media outlet based in Equatorial Guinea, Ahora EG.
Reports from another another local news platform revealed that, the President fired Engonga with several accusations.

His dismissal is based on accusations of “irregularities committed in the exercise of his functions, as well as inappropriate family and social conduct for the performance of public functions.
As a result, Equatorial Guinea’s President, Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, has reportedly appointed Zenón Obiang Obiang Avomo as the new Director General of the National Agency for Financial Investigation.
