Former Nigerian president, Buhari confirmed dead

Former please of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari died on July 13, 2025.

The former Nigerian leaders is reported to have died in a London clinic while receiving medical treatment.

His death was confirmed by his spokesperson, Garba Shehu, and announced by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Current president, Tinubu has ordered flags to be flown at half-mast and directed Vice President Kashim Shettima to accompany Buhari’s body back to Nigeria.

Buhari, who died aged 82, served as Nigeria’s military head of state from 1983 to 1985 and as a democratically elected president from 2015 to 2023.

Many questions are being asked about his cause of death but no cause of death was specified in the reports.

The entire world is shocked to hear his passing and Nigeria as a nation has turned attention to mourning their ex president.
