Iran gives a 12-hour heads-up before launching a 6-missile attack on U.S. bases stationed in Qatar

Iran launched a missile attack on Qatar’s Al Udeid Air Base, the largest U.S. military facility in the Middle East, late Monday, a U.S. official confirmed.

The strike, involving six missiles aimed at symbolic targets, was described as a carefully measured response to recent tensions, with no casualties anticipated.

According to the official, Iran gave the U.S. authorities a 12-hour advance warning before the attack, allowing U.S. and Qatari forces to take defensive measures.

The missiles were not intended to match the scale of damage Iran reportedly suffered over the weekend but rather to send a clear signal of retaliation.
