President of France, Emmanuel Macron has sparked reactions among Africans all over the world with his recent claims.
African Hub reported that the French leader has made comments that proved his unwillingness to stay away from the affairs of African countries.

According to him, France still has uncompleted projects ongoing in Africa and a withdrawal will harm such projects.
The French President is quoted to have insisted that, now is not the time to allow countries in Africa to manage themselves.
He believes France still has multiple roles to play in the development of African countries despite recent pressure to get them out of African territories.
“If we leave African countries to manage on their own, now is not the time. Africa remains the least developed continent, and history shows we have a role to play in supporting its growth. A complete withdrawal could halt progress. There is still much work for us to do in Africa, and we believe they are not fully ready to thrive without our involvement.” he said

Having colonized some African countries, France has a long history of interfering in the affairs of Francophone countries in the African continent.
Most African countries however, are mounting pressure in the French to stay away from their resources.
