US is taking drastic measures to stop all immigrants who enter the country with the purpose of gaining citizenship for their kids.
It is a common knowledge that some parents, especially pregnant women intentionally apply for Visa to enter the United States for child birth.

The sole aim is for this move is for them to deliver their kids in the United States so the child can gain citizenship.
This has been noticed by the United States government and things are about to change in their immigration sector.
According to the he US government, most of them apply for tourist Visas to executive their plans, an action they described as unacceptable.
In a statement, US noted that this move by foreign parents is forcing the American taxpayers to pay for medical cost of this tourists.

“It is unacceptable for foreign parents to use a U.S. tourist visa for the primary purpose of giving birth in the United States to obtain citizenship for the child, which also could result in American taxpayers paying the medical care costs. This is known as birth tourism and U.S. consular officers deny all such visa applications under U.S. immigration law. Those who abuse our immigration system through birth tourism may be ineligible for future visas or travel to the United States. This is one more way the U.S. Department of State is serving and protecting American taxpayers and communities.” A US statement reads
The US tourist visa, which is also known as a B-2 visa, only allows foreign nationals to visit the United States temporarily.
Their visit is meant for activities like tourism, leisure, or visiting family and friends only.
