News about Ibrahim Traore’s decision to award a Russian company Mining permit has raised lots of questions.
We reported earlier that Captain Ibrahim Traore has given a Russian mining firm the chance to mine in the country.
The mining firm, identified as Nordgold, would overseas mining activities in the country on an improved condition that would generate great income for the country.

His decision came at the back of accusations that the Burkina Faso leader is keeping the golds for his personal use.
US General, Michael Langley was the man who voiced out the displeasure during a meeting.
In the meeting, he accused Burkina Faso’s President Ibrahim Traore of using the country’s gold reserves to protect himself.
The West African country has also been firm to not allow France to have anything doing with their natural resources.

One of the reasons could be a partnership with the Putin led country for support Incase France or America decided to declare war on them.
