Fishing is a job that has its good days and bad days. While some days are characterized by little or no catch, other days fishermen are awarded with a hefty bounty.
In the Central Region of Ghana, a group of fishermen were filled with joy when their nets dragged in a big catch after a long day at the sea.

Unknown to these fishermen was that their catch was as rare as they saw it when theyy dragged it aboard their boat as they had just caught a whale shark.
The whale shark is a rare species which is listed on the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) list as an Endangered species.

After having it their boat for a while, the fishermen finally let go of the big fish by releasing it into the sea.
