IGP assures Bawku youth as top priority in special recruitment if they lay down their arms

The Inspector General of Police, Mr. Christian Tetteh Yohuno has made a huge promise to the people of Bawku.

Tensions are very high and emotions are boiling all over with violence in Bawku and it’s surroundings.

In a bid to call tempers, Mr. Christian Tetteh Yohuno has promised to make youths of Bawku a priority in a specia recruitment.

The Inspector General of Police is alleged to have said that he’ll consider a special recruitment to get youths of Bawku into the Ghana police service if they agree to lay down their arms.

The IGP embarked on a journey earlier to Bawku to access the ongoing violent clashes.

His journey is part of ongoing efforts to bring the violent clash which has been a major concern to an end in Bawku.
