Ghana Police Service and Ghana Immigration Service ranked most corrupt institutions in Ghana

Global InfoAnalytics have released the results of their first national tracking poll in 2025.

The results from the poll indicates that the most corrupt institutions in the country at the moment is the Ghana Police Service, with the Immigration Service on its heels.

The poll whose results was based on the public’s perception of corruption across various sectors ranked Ghana Police Service on the top of the list with a score of 6.43.

Ghana Immigration Service follows next with a rating of 5.86. Third institution on the list is Judiciary Service, which had a ratting of 5.78.

Other institutions like Ghana Revenue Authority (5.68), local government representatives (5.63), business executives (5.63), Electoral Commission (5.58), traditional leaders (5.51), and Parliament (5.47), were also perceived to be corrupt.

Ministers and government officials received the lowest score of 4.61, indicating relatively less public concern about corruption in this category compared to others.
