A Nigerian woman, Oluwaseunfunmi Akindeko, has marked the first anniversary of her survival after surviving a terminal illness.
Oluwaseunfunmi revealed on social media that she battled cancer which led to her losing one of her legs.

Sharing photos of her amputated leg in the hospital, she remarked that the enemy’s plan was for her to lose her life but God did not allow that to happen.
She expressed gratitude to God for saving her life whilst reckoning that it is not over with her yet.

“One year ago today, I lost my leg to cancer. The enemy’s plan was not just for me to lose my leg, but for me to be buried. But Today I stand as proof that God is not done with me. That his mercy speaks louder than any verdict of the enemy. Thank you lord Jesus,” she wrote on Sunday, February 16, 2025.
